Analysing Opening Sequences - Introduction
In the next few blog posts I will be analysing five opening sequences from different genres to establish the conventions of opening sequences regardless of their genre, as I believe that there will be a number of consistent elements of opening sequences - such as introducing character or creating enigme - that will be common even in films from very different genres.
I have found a useful website for film posters called IMP Awards which I will be using throughout my blog to visually represent the films I will be discussing.
