Opening Sequences and Characters - Introduction

I’ve noticed that often in opening sequences important characters (frequently the film's protagonist, but sometimes a movie's antagonist) and their traits are introduced to the audience, therefore I’m going to have a closer look at two films from different genres to see how films introduce and present the characters in their opening sequences.

The films I am going to be looking at are:

'Deadpool' 

(Superhero genre)

'The Breakfast Club'

(Comedy genre)
